At our Texoma Regional Police Academy, we are dedicated to offering cutting-edge and rigorous training programs that empower aspiring officers to excel in their roles as Texas Peace Officers. Our academy is committed to equipping individuals with the essential skills and knowledge needed to enter the esteemed field of law enforcement. We take pride in preparing the next generation of officers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and service. If you're ready to embark on a fulfilling career in law enforcement, the Texoma Regional Police Academy is your gateway to success.  Upon successful completion of the academy student are eligible to sit for  the TCOLE licensure exam to become a licensed Peace officer in the State of Texas. The exam fee is an additional $25. Join us and gain the expertise and training required to make a difference in your community as a Texas Peace Officer."

Requirements

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are interested in enrolling in this program, you must first make an appointment to meet with the program director, and complete an in-person interview and application packet. 

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a psychological exam, physical and drug screen.
